Living in Scarborough

With a population of over 61000, Scarborough is the largest holiday resort on the Yorkshire coast.
Set on the beautiful North Yorkshire Coast with stunning scenery and glorious beaches North and South Bay, Scarborough is a destination that has attracted visitors from near and far for over 400 years, the second most visited place after London in England and increasing in popularity on daily basis.
Despite its rich history, Scarborough doesn’t live in the past and is the ideal place to live and study today. The town is constantly innovating and was judged to be the ‘most creative and inspiring entrepreneurship initiative in Europe’ at the European Enterprise Awards (2009).
Alongside Hull University, and the launch of Coventry University new campus and many start-up businesses, 2016 will also welcomed the opening ofAlpamare’s new £15 million waterpark as part of the continuing redevelopment of North Bay.
