The Grand Hotel

When the Grand Hotel was completed in 1867 it was one of the largest hotels in the world and one of the first giant purpose-built hotels in Europe. The four towers represent each season, twelve floors represent months, fifty-two chimneys for weeks and originally there were 365 bedrooms to represent days of the year.
