Equality and Diversity

Scarborough is by nature a welcoming town, and been since it was declared the first holiday resort in England, it’s in the blood, just comes naturally.

Scarborough always welcomed people without any discriminative intentions or thoughts, the emblem of the holiday resort is the white rose the county of the warmth of the white heart, the heart of the three lions, all together and all for one.

The Scarborian’s are well aware of the results of the hate caused by the fascism and they will not allow it or tolerate in the beautiful town of Scarborough.

The people of Scarborough have already displayed they do not approve any fascism or discrimination in their town, and proved many that they are a divers and welcome town and society to everyone.
It is not fair or right that the Scarborian’s have to stay in their homes and avoid the town centre because of the way they dress or look or where they come from or if they are tall or short or thin or overweight.
Scarborough fully support diversity and proved for many years and still keeping up with such principle and has no plan to support anything different.

Scarborians have been against any ideology that incite hatred in any form or shape that cause threats and racially discriminate against people in our town.
Our MP Robert Goodwill, the local council, police area department and many different societies in our town have been very busy and permanently active organising event and using all means of marketing tools to publicise Scarborough beliefs of tolerance and accepting and diverse society.
